20 Hour Service
This essential first break-in service is vital to the longevity of your engine. What is actually being done during engine break-in is fairly simple – it’s the controlled bedding, or wearing-in, of the new piston rings on the hone of the cylinder walls. During this time more than normal amounts of fine particles of metal become present in the oil, and before the rings fully seat there is more than normal combustion chamber blow by which dilutes the engine oil with fuel.
100 Hour Service / Annual Service
During our annual services we provide you not only the required maintenance items but we thoroughly inspect for other issues that may become a problem before your next service. We do not use a pre set list of parts during your service, your usage frequency will determine what hard parts you may need. We spend the time to inspect before just replacing.
Other Scheduled Maintenance
Outboard engines continue to become more advanced and complicated. With these advancements, come additional service requirements such as, fuel filters inside the vapor separator tank, oil control valve filters, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, et cetera.
